Keurig Coffee Maker Settlement: $950K

• Performance Issue Claim Class: Consumers who complained to Keurig about a power-loss defect during descaling within 12 months of purchasing a K-Supreme, K-Supreme Plus, or K-Supreme SMART brewer and did not receive a remedy.

• Coffee Maker Purchaser Class: Consumers who purchased a K-Supreme model or compatible descaling solution between Oct. 1, 2020, and June 20, 2025.

• Performance Issue Class: Repair invoices, photos, or documentation showing permanent power loss during descaling.

• Purchaser Class: Receipts or order confirmations showing purchase of a qualifying Keurig brewer or descaling solution.

Keurig has agreed to pay $950,000 to settle a class action lawsuit over claims that its K-Supreme coffee makers suffer from a defect causing them to lose power during the descaling process. The issue allegedly renders the machines inoperable, requiring customers to pay out-of-pocket for replacements or repairs.

The lawsuit alleges that Keurig failed to honor its limited warranty when consumers complained about the issue. Though Keurig denies any wrongdoing, it has agreed to settle the claims to avoid further litigation.

What Settlement Class Members Can Receive

Eligible individuals can receive one of the following benefits:

• Cash Payment: Up to $250 for those who experienced the descaling-related power loss and reported it to Keurig without receiving a remedy. Exact payment will depend on how many valid claims are filed.

• Extended Warranty: All class members are entitled to a 12-month extended warranty on their eligible coffee maker, regardless of whether they experienced a defect.

To qualify, class members must submit a valid claim form by November 14, 2025.

This settlement offers meaningful compensation to Keurig customers affected by product malfunctions while also providing extended protection for other buyers of the impacted brewers.
